title | Migration and housing (MICOLL) |
subtitle | meeting refugees’ housing needs through collaborative housing programmes |
type | FFG project |
texts | The overall goal of MICOLL is to explore the potential of collaborative housing (CH) solutions for the long-term integration of refugees. Initially, it delivers a concise state of the art on CH for marginalised groups across Europe, especially women refugees. Furthermore, the project explores cross-learning from ongoing CH practices in local contexts to identify relevant actors, processes and institutional systems for CH support and upscaling. Co-produced knowledge leads to operational recommen- dations for municipalities and other urban housing actors, and will be translated into pilot implementation processes in Austria, Sweden and the UK. Finally, an online platform will be set up to enhance future knowledge sharing, dissemination and learning among CH stakeholders and researchers. |
